Millie Scott

Mildred O.”Millie” Scott, 90, of Montrose, PA went home to meet her precious Savior, Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Meadow View Senior Living Center, Montrose, PA. Born December 20, 1918 in Brookdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred W. and Emma [Travis] Wilber. Her step-mother, the late, Bessie Rhinevault Wilber, raised her. Her husband Everett A. Scott predeceased her in 1972. She was a member of Bridgewater Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and AWANA leader. Additionally she served on the Board of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Susquehanna County for 30 years, and assisted with Summer Camp Ministries . She also was a member of the Lawsville Grange and provided transportation for the Hallstead Christian Academy students Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Lavonne E. & Robert Lewis of Montrose, PA, sons & daughters-in-law, Arden E. & Jane Scott of Montrose, PA, Dale W. & Yvonne Scott of Warner Robins, GA, Kendall J. & Wendy Scott of Montrose, PA, Timothy E. & Amy Scott of Owego, NY, son-in-law, Mark Luce, Montrose, PA, 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, a daughter, Brenda L. Luce, grandson Craig W. Scott, and a great-granddaughter, Rachel M. Scott, predeceased her. Services: Sunday 4:00 PM at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA Visitation: Sunday 2:00-4:00 PM at the funeral home.
