George F. McLaud

George F. McLaud, 49, of Montrose, PA passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock, PA. Born August 11, 1960 in Johnson City, NY, he was the son of the late Richard P. and Ruth M. [Ely] McLaud. George served in the Army and Army National Guard for a total of more than 20 years. He was a member of East Rush United Methodist Church and the American Legion Ayres-Stone Post #154, Montrose, PA. Survivors include sisters & brothers-in-law, Diana & David Fauver of Nicholson, PA, Mary Jo & Ed Burke of Montrose, PA, brothers & sisters-in-law, David & Debbie McLaud of Honesdale, PA, Robert & Nellie McLaud of Hop Bottom, PA, Richard McLaud & Fiancée Barbara McDonald, aunts and uncles, Mary & Donald Gordon of Killawog, NY, and Wesley Wilbur, Hop Bottom, special Friends, Craig & Leota Carl of Towanda, PA, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services: 4:00 pm Thursday at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA 18801. Visitation: 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.
