Dale H. Jordan
Dale H. Jordan, 68, of Montrose, PA passed away, Monday, November 23, 2009 at his home. Born April 3, 1941 in Sayre, PA, he was the son of the late Donald L. and Joyce O. [York] Jordan.
Dale served in the Navy during Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam and retired after 20 years of honorable service.
Dale was a member of the Fleet Reserve, NRA, Navy Rifle Pistol Team, and was the superintendant for the goat department at the Harford Fair. He also was a hunter safety instructor in Maryland and Florida and was very involved with the Boy Scouts, certifying Merit Badges. He loved his hunting and fishing and also enjoyed gardening and flowerbed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Jeanne L. Jordan of Montrose, PA, daughters & sons-in-law, Annette & Rick Lail of Hickory, NC, Jennifer & David Vogel of Boiling Springs, PA, sons & daughters-in-law, Robert & Mary Jordan of Dillsburg, PA, Dale & Lara Jordan of Lost Creek, WV, 8 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 step great grandchild, sister, Sue Port, brothers & sisters-in-law, Kent & Gloria Jordan, Alan & MaryAnn Jordan, Kevin Jordan, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Services: 11:00 am Saturday at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA 18801.
Visitation: 1 hour prior to services on Saturday.
