Wayne Williams

Wayne L. Williams, 84, of South Gibson, PA passed away, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose, PA. Born November 11, 1925 in Gelatt, PA, he was the son of the late Harley and Katherine [Lowe] Williams. His wife, Ruth Emily Williams predeceased him in 2008. He was a Farmer and school bus driver for the Mountain View School District for many years. He was a member of Freedom Lodge #328, Thompson, PA where he was a past Master, the Order of the Eastern Star, Thompson where he was the Worthy Patron and also was involved with the former Top Hatters Club. Wayne enjoyed puzzles and woodworking. Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Marshall Decker of Nicholson, PA, son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Debbie Williams of Falls, PA, grandchildren, Merl, Justin (Patience), Elizabeth, Matthew, Ian & Benjamin, great grandson, Jack, sisters, Winifred Soden of Gelatt, PA, Sally Tyler of Oneonta, NY, sister-in-law, Hilda Williams of Kingsley, PA, special friend, Unadine Wiseman and family and caregiver, Barbie Parsons. Besides his parents & wife, he was predeceased by sisters & brothers-in-law, Ann & Floyd Truex, Frances & Carlyle Frantz, brothers, Walter, Frederick & Wray Williams and brothers-in-law, James Soden & George Tyler.
