Earl Forwood

Earl R. Forwood, 82, of Hop Bottom Area, PA passed away, Friday, December 11, 2009 at his home. Born July 3, 1927 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late William and Evelyn [Quigley] Forwood. He was a dairy farmer, and served on the board of the Mountain View School District where he also drove school bus. Earl was a past president of the Eastern Milk Producers Association. Earl served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hop Bottom. Survivors include step daughters & step son-in-law, Sharon & John Racine of Boathwyn, PA, Arlene Forwood of FL, sisters, Blanche Miller of Clora, MD, Evelyn Pierce of Glen Riddle, PA, caregivers, Jim Zick, John Congdon. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Frances Prendergast, son, Glen Forwood, step son, John Jackson, brothers, Walter & William.
