Wilbert Hitchcock, 69, of Port Crane, NY passed away, Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, Johnson City, NY. Born October 2, 1940 in Sayre, PA, he was the son of the late LaVern W. and Maisie [Baldwin] Hitchcock.
He was employed by Gorick Construction, Kirkwood, NY.
Wilbert enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and tinkering. He loved his dogs Tucker & Riley and enjoyed truck pulling with his four sons.
Survivors include wife, Kathy Riker Hitchcock, daughters & sons-in-law, Christine & Jim Baker of Heart Lake, PA, Terry & Carl Benscoter of Laceyville, PA, Sue Hitchcock of Montrose, PA, sons & daughters-in-law, Vern & Denise Hitchcock of Greene, NY, Willy & Amy Hitchcock of Montrose, PA, Dean & Missy Hitchcock of Montrose, PA, Greg & Casey Hitchcock of Springville, PA, sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary Ann & James Webster of Orlando, FL, Wilma & Myron Severcool of Elk Lake, PA, Gwen & Allie Warner of Elk Lake, PA, Gloria & Ed Mosier of Towanda, PA, brothers & sisters-in-law, George & Aline Snell of Texas, Tommy & Julie Hitchcock of Owego, NY, sister-in-law, Pam Hitchcock of Montrose, PA, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Kenny Hitchcock and step mother, Iva Hitchcock.
