Bernice Price

Bernice M. Price, 97, of Franklin Forks, PA passed away, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Meadow View Senior Living Center, Montrose, PA. Born September 23, 1912 in Franklin Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Nelson and Carmel Flavella [Devine] Hill. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Leland Stevens in 1963 and 2nd husband Daniel R. Price Sr. in 1974. Bernice worked for the Montrose Department Store from 1963-1973. She was a member of the Franklin Forks United Methodist Church and what was the former Mary Rebekah Lodge No. 7, Montrose, PA. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Eloise & Nis Krogh of Sacramento, CA, son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Phyllis Stevens of Tucson, AZ, step son, Martin & Florence Price of Fort Worth, TX, 12 grandchildren, Mark, Craig, Allen "Bucky", Leland & Chris Stevens, Laurie Strawn, Virginia Shope, Iver Krogh, Kirsten Rodgers, Gwendolyn McCowen, Robert & Joshua Price, several great grandchildren, sister & brother-in-law, Lois & Forrest Damon of Forest Lake, PA, many nieces & nephews. Besides her parents & husbands, she was predeceased by a son, Lloyd Stevens, an infant daughter, and a brother, Jay Russell Hill, sisters, Ethel Cranston, MaryLou Sampson, Dora Natzle.
