Capitola Cain

Capitola A. Cain, 97, of Montrose, PA passed away, Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at her home on Lake Raylean. Born August 20, 1912 in New Durham, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Merton R. and Jessie [Schuyler] Austin. Her husband Clifford W. Cain predeceased her in 1987. She played the cello in the orchestra for Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit. Capitola was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir as well as the choir director, a Sunday school teacher, a part of the Golden Heirs, and a deaconess. She assisted Child Evangelism Fellowship's "5 Day Clubs" and with their monthly mailings. She was a past member of the music club in Newburyport, MA. Survivors include daughter, Betty Cain of Montrose, PA, sons & daughters-in-law, Clifford W. Jr. & Amy Cain of Montrose, PA, David A. & Elizabeth V. Cain of Montrose, PA, Stephen R. & Carla Cain of Waverly, NY, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, brothers & sisters-in-law, Robert M. & Claudia Austin of Lancaster, PA, John W. & Marion Austin of Rutland, VT, nieces & nephews.
