Dawn Bennett

Dawn Bennett, 69, of Lawton, PA passed away, Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock, PA. Born July 30, 1940 in Forest Lake, PA, she was the daughter of the late Maurice P. Sr. and Vivian [Bishop] Newhart. Dawn enjoyed many things throughout her life such as, bingo, fishing, flowers, gambling, playing pitch and yard sales. Her grandchildren and family were the light of her life and she loved cooking for them on the holidays. A couple of her favorite past times was growing perennials with her sister Linda and having picnics on the hill. She was a special lady and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Paul Bennett of Lawton, PA, daughters & son-in-law, Cindy & Gary Douglas of Lawton, PA, Susan Bennett & companion, AJ Jayne of Lawton, PA, sons & daughter-in-law, Brad Bennett of Lawton, PA, Wes & Barb Bennett of Lawton, PA, grandchildren, Jessica Douglas & fiance, Matt Noldy, Frank & Cody Birchard, Brianna & Shanise Bennett, Tim & Alisha Colegrove, Bethany Bennett & Sheila Hinkley, 3 great grandchildren, a very special sister & brother-n-law, Linda & Rick Warpus, her other sisters & brothers-in-law, Betty & William Hadsall, Patricia & Robert Kelley, Margaret & Donald Hunsinger, brothers & sisters-in-law, Raymond & Alberta Newhart, Maurice Jr. & Nancy Newhart, Robert & Norma Jean Newhart, Ernie & Susan Newhart, James & Cheryl Newhart, Ronald Newhart.
