Brooks E. Warner
Brooks E. Warner, 84, of Montrose, PA passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 15, 2010 at Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose, PA. Born January 27, 1926 in Damascus, PA, he was the son of the late William E and Rose A. [Cromis] Warner.
He was an Accountant for various firms throughout his life.
Brooks served in the Army during the World War II.
He was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church where he was a past lector, the Montrose Club, the American Legion Post #154, Montrose, PA, and the Knights of Pythias. Brooks also was a past Montrose Borough Secretary for 26 years.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn F. [Walsh] Warner of Montrose, PA, daughter & son-in-law, Jo Ann & George Leonard of Montrose, PA, sons , Edward Warner of Montrose, PA, Alan Warner of Pataskala, OH, grandchildren, Christopher & Ryan Leonard, Brooks R., Brenton & Bryce Warner, great grandson, Keaton Leonard, brother & sister-in-law, Jay & Margaret Warner of Unionville, MO, sister-in-law, Madelyn Walsh of Silver Spring, MD and many nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Lloyd Warner.

Services: Thursday, 10:15 AM at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home and will continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Holy Name Of Mary Catholic Church, 60 South Main Street, Montrose, PA 18801.
Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Instead of flowers: memorial contributions may be made to Susquehanna County Historical Society & Free Library Assoc., 2 Monument Square, Montrose, PA 18801 or to the Social Concerns Fund at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 60 South Main Street, Montrose, PA 18801.
