Ray W. Wellman, Jr., 64, of Montrose, PA passed away, Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born March 11, 1946 in Montrose, PA, he was the son of the late Ray W. Sr. and Marilyn [Lewis] Wellman. Ray served in the Army during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the Susquehanna Royal Arch Chapter No. 276, American Legion Post #154, Montrose, PA, A. J. Bird Memorial VFW Post #384, New Albany, PA, New Milford Rod & Gun Club & the Bluestone Lodge # 338, Hallstead, Pa where he was the past master. He loved automobiles and working on them as well as drag racing. Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Cheryl L. [Blaisure] Wellman of Montrose, PA, sons, Robert Wellman of Laceyville, PA, Todd Wellman of Montrose, PA, daughters, Robyn Merritt of Montrose, PA, Kara Blaisure of Hanover, PA, 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Jesse, Nicolas, Shiann, Tessa & Aiden, brother & sister-in-law, Dale & Colleen Wellman of Clifford, PA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
