Lynn Summers

Lynn H. Summers, 93, of Clearwater, FL formerly of Montrose, PA passed away, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Woodside Hospice, Pinellas Park, FL. Born April 26, 1917 in Franklin Forks, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Ethel [Tingley] Summers. He retired after 30 years from the Montrose Independent as a Linotype Operator. Lynn served in the Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1946 during World War II. He enjoyed traveling, Big Band concerts and many years vacationing and sailing at Fair Haven, NY. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Thena Summers of Hallstead, PA, grandson, Scott Summers & fiance Victoria Rites of Dunmore, PA, sister-in-law Carolyn Gwilt of Clearwater, FL. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Hilda Summers in 1977, his second wife, Helen Summers in 2009 and a sister, Vivian Winans in 2004.
